In this paper, two type of wing shapes used in human powered aircraft are examined. Coefficients for lift , drag and moment is calculated by EDISON airfoil DB creation software. Stiffness matrices and mass matrices are computed by EDISON thin-walled composite material beam analysis. To obtain the tip displacements, these matrices were used as stiffness matrices and mass matrices for each node. Both straight wing shape and tapered wing shape follow the displace limit of the wing tip. Since straight wing shape shows little displacement rather than tapered wing shape straight shape wing is more efficient shape for human powered aircraft.
